Structure of Girls Program for 2017-18 Season

 

Player Registration:

Registration opens on July 1st, and the fee is broken down into 3 increments:

  1. Initial registration, due by 8/13/17.  $0 due prior to tryouts.  This is merely a registration so we have a head count for tryouts and for each team.
  2. Half of the entry fee is due on 9/1/17.
  3. The remainder of the entry fee is due on 10/1/17.

 

Try-outs & Next Steps:

  1. All players will be placed on a team.
  2. After try-outs on Sunday, August 13th (and make up date, if applicable) teams will be formed and communication will be prepared.
  3. You will receive an email on August 21st with your players’ team placement.  At that time you will need to pay the next installment (or the entire amount) by end of day September 1st.
  4. We will be using the same uniforms as last year.  If that uniform no longer fits you will need to order a new uniform.  If you are new to the club you will have to order a full uniform online (see separate tab on uniform ordering).

 

Breakdown of teams based on grade level:

We anticipate 1 to 2 teams per grade level with 8-10 players per team.  However, adjustments will be made based on tryout numbers.  If needed, a third team can be added to keep numbers of teams ideal.

2nd & 3rd Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided equally based on skill.

4th Grade: 8-10 players per team

  • Boys: Teams will be divided equally based on skill.
  • Girls: We will have a “Tournament Team” and a “League Team” which will be decided based on commitment level and skill level of the players.

5th Grade: 8-10 players per team  – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, “B” team and “C” team if applicable

6th Grade: 8-10 players per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, “B” team and “C” team if applicable

7th Grade: 8-10 kids per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, and “B” team and "C" team if applicable

8th Grade: 8-10 kids per team – Teams will be divided based on skill level, with an “A” team, and “B” team and "C" team if applicable
